I generally steer clear of politics, but it's been getting pretty heavy lately. It's one of the most important presidential elections in recent history. Seriously, I hate Hilary Clinton. Prior to the primaries, I would have loved representation from either Obama or Clinton. After the debacle that is the current Bush administration, it seemed like a ripe time for the democrats to sweep into the white house. Seriously, leave it to the democrats to fuck things up. Honestly, the republicans are awesome at presenting a united front. Even if things don't make sense, they're good at spinning stuff to their advantage. We don't even need the presidential election. Hilary has dug up enough dirt and take enough low blows to make Obama look bad. I wouldn't even want her as his running mate. Playing the race and gender card. Seriously, no class. Totally turned off by the elections. I won't support McCain, gonna stay independent...just wish the damn Dems could get their shit together.

on a side note, what's going on with the world. Crazy storms in asia, giant 7.9 quake in China. Pres bush...way to step up big and offer all $500,000 to China in aid. That's pathetic.
I am not sure how to view your comment about us stepping up to the worlds problems. I kinda think its best to let them deal with their own shit, considering we get bad press no matter what we do. And to my recollection I don't remember any foreign aid from anyone during katrina, El Nino, or 9/11. There are plenty of other countries that have better economies that could step in, it seems with our shitty economy and dollar being the weakest, we should just keep em to ourselves and try to fix our own shit.
