ER

Damn, I started my ER rotation last night. Did a night of pediatric ER. Damn...It's amazing what you can forget in a little over a year. Seriously, definitely not getting an eval from that attending or the residents I worked with. Couldn't do anything right...asked all the wrong questions, couldn't see the TM. What, the kid's head is small? 135/99 isn't normal in a 2 year old? Shit...damn, haven't felt this dumb in a long time. It's really easy to focus on one area in medicine...even easier to forget everything else. 1 down. 13 more shifts to go.
