counting down the days...

It's true what they say. Surgery is fucking brutal. It's a daily beat down. You don't sleep much. You're under a lot of stress and pressure. Often times you're made to feel very small indeed. I'm starting to lose the spring in my step. It's kind of discouraging when everyone I meet says they won't enourage/discourage anyone from going into it, but it will challenge every fiber of who you are. I can see the long term product, but the next few years of my life scare me very much.
